The Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers (Atas) is heading to Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix, for its annual conference.
The event will take place on September 21-22 at the famous race circuit, near Towcester in Northamptonshire.
Booking for travel agents will open soon, said Claire Brighton, Atas director.
“We have developed a reputation for hosting one of the most entertaining and educational conferences on the trade calendar – and this year will really see us drive more excitement,” she said.
“We’ve hosted conferences in great venues over the years, such as the British Motor Museum, the Royal Armouries and, most recently, the ICC Wales.
“Now we’re revving up for another packed conference, with speakers from across the industry and beyond, educational sessions, engaging networking sessions and more, to really put agents in the driving seat.
“The touring and adventure sector is going from strength to strength and our conference will help delegates to accelerate their sales growth.”
Following on from the success of last year’s event at the ICC Wales, Newport, the format of the conference will remain the same, offering two half-days of main stage content, with the opening session taking place in the afternoon of September 21.
Brighton will co-host proceedings as always with Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly.
“We had fantastic feedback from agents and suppliers who have seen great success with their touring and adventure bookings thanks to the information, training and networking they enjoyed in Wales,” said Brighton.
“So watch out for news about registration opening for Silverstone and details of the theme, speakers and more.”
