Newmarket Holidays has launched two Canadian tours, offering agents “something different” to talk about with clients as the itineraries feature wishlist activities and lesser-known areas.
The new 14-day itineraries are Canada’s Pacific Coast Wildlife & the Rockies – departing in 2028 – and The Spirit of the Atlantic Coast & Eastern Canada, departing in 2027 and 2028.
Canada’s Pacific Coast Wildlife & the Rockies combines wildlife and mountain scenery, with “guaranteed bear and whale watching”.
Clients will also visit Canada’s highest suspension bridge – the Golden Skybridge – visit Butchart Gardens and spend two nights in Vancouver with a scenic crossing to Vancouver Island.
It costs from £4,105 including flights.
The Spirit of the Atlantic Coast & Eastern Canada tour pairs maritime provinces with key sights of Quebec and Ontario.
It visits the provinces of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Ontario and four Unesco World Heritage sites, including the Bay of Fundy at Joggins Fossil Cliffs, a day trip to Quebec City Old Town, and a visit to Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg.
The trip also features a full-day loop of the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park, a visit to Niagara Falls, and a lobster dinner in Baddeck.
It costs from £3,918, including flights.
Hayley Morris, head of trade sales and partnerships, said: “Canada is one of those destinations that continues to surprise, and that makes it an easy sell.
“These two new tours give travel agents something different to talk to their customers about, whether that’s watching bears in Tofino or walking the streets of a Unesco-listed fishing town in Nova Scotia.
“With exciting inclusions, wish-list moments and a destination that is having a real moment, we’re giving agents everything they need to convert interest into bookings.”
