Newmarket Holidays has seen an almost doubling in bookings via homeworking travel agents.
Strong momentum in sales across the operator’s homeworker accounts has led to a bookings rise of 98.7% year on year with passenger numbers growing by 85% over the past three months.
A new homeworkers hub is being introduced to giving agents access to personalised marketing material, training resources and exclusive rewards.
The boost in sales from agents who operate independently from home has predominantly been driven by long-haul sales, with a safari in South Africa becoming a best seller.
The uplift follows Ryan Readman’s move into a dedicated role supporting homeworkers.
Further initiatives are planned to support performance, including Homeworker Focus Month, featuring 10 events across the UK for around 200 homeworkers.
The operator is also introducing a new loyalty programme, appreciation events for top sellers, and a dedicated homeworker fam trip in 2027.
Readman, trade partnerships manager, said: "Over the last three months, we’ve seen fantastic growth across our homeworker accounts, reflecting the strong partnerships we’ve built with home-based travel specialists. Our focus has always been on providing the right support, tools and resources to help agents grow their touring sales.
“The launch of our new homeworkers hub is another important step in making it easier for homeworkers to access the training, marketing support and inspiration they need. While they may work remotely, they’re never working alone."
Head of trade sales and partnerships Hayley Morris added: "We’ve seen fantastic momentum across our homeworker partners, with bookings almost doubling year on year. This growth reflects the strength of the relationships we’ve built and our commitment to giving homeworkers the support they need to succeed.
“We’re continuing to invest in the homeworker community through new tools, events and educational opportunities, ensuring our partners have everything they need to grow successful touring businesses."
