AAT Kings’ Gary Skilling steps up to cover maternity leave
Gary Skilling has been promoted by AAT Kings to UK and Ireland sales executive to cover senior sales manager Heather Colbourn’s maternity leave to December 2023.
He will report to Sydney-based head of sales and revenue Troy Ackerman.
Skilling joined AAT Kings in August as inside sales executive bringing 20 years of industry experience across reservations, product, and commercial with the likes of Travel 2, Gold Medal and Hays tour operating.
He said: “I can’t wait to share my passion and knowledge for all the amazing experiences that we have to offer in Australia and New Zealand with our partners and the UK and Irish trade.
“Travel agents and tour operators are the backbone of our industry, and it will be my pleasure to work closely with them all to help grow their knowledge and sales performance.”
Chief executive Ben Hall added: “We would like to congratulate Heather and her family on their new addition and are delighted to have Gary covering Heather Colbourn’s maternity leave for what promises to be a busy year ahead for Australia and New Zealand tourism.”
