Leger aims to drive Grand Prix sales with agent discount
Leger Holidays has released a special trade-only discount on its escorted coach break to the Belgian Grand Prix.
The four-day trip departs on July 26 and travel agents can book the tour – which is part of Leger’s Live Events collection – from £769 instead of the consumer direct price of £789.
Belgium’s Formula One Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit is one of the longest in F1.The tour includes coach travel from the UK with local joining points, three nights at a three-star hotel with continental breakfast, transfers to the race circuit and admission on both the Qualifying Day and Race Day.
The single room supplement is from £169. Ashley Dellow, Leger Shearings Group’s head of retail sales, said: “Normally our prices are identical for trade and direct sales, but periodically we like to feature special trade-only discounts and that’s in addition to travel agents’ commission.
“Leger Holidays’ Live Events collection has some great events scheduled for 2024, with the motorsports being among the most popular, so it’s great to be able to offer an exclusive trade-only discount on the Belgian Grand Prix.
“These events appeal to all ages, and travelling is made so easy when you choose a fully escorted break; simply join the coach at a local joining point, be transported there and back with no hassle, no driving, no airports, or need to lug luggage around, and with an escort to take care of all the logistics.”
