Agents get a taste of polar cruising on G Adventures expedition ship
G Adventures hosted 120 travel agents from the UK and Ireland board the G Expedition, G Adventures’ expedition ship that specialises in polar cruising.
They boarded the ship in Leith, Edinburgh and spent the day exploring the ship to get a taste of expedition cruising.
Agents tested out the zodiacs and took part in a photography session on the top deck.
Expedition leader, Susan Adie, also gave a talk on the wildlife passengers can see in the Arctic and Antarctic which was broadcast live on Facebook.
Director of sales Uday Sodha said: “We had great feedback from agents. We try and host these days every year when the ship is in Leith.
“These ships are great for giving a personal experience because it’s a small vessel, only carrying 130 passengers, which can reach a lot of locations.”
