APT releases 2019 Canada and Alaska programme

Escorted touring specialist APT has released its new 2019 Canada and Alaska programme with 12 itineraries in its brochure.

It features two different touring styles; APT’s fully-inclusive Luxury holidays and APT Essential tours.

Highlights include the Rocky Mountains, Canada’s east and west coasts and Alaska’s Inside Passage.

There will be four Luxury itineraries and four Essential trips to Western Canada and one of each to Eastern Canada in the new range.

Agents are encouraged to take APT’s Canada and Alaska online training module to boost product knowledge on the destinations.

Managing director UK and Europe, Paul Melinis, said: “Canada and Alaska are incredible destinations for which APT has seen solid growth in recent years. However we believe there is still more opportunity, and the key to selling even more of this product to clients is engagement and education.”

Early booking discounts of up to £400 per couple are available on reservations made by October 31.

A social media incentive has also been launched to give agents the chance to win an iPad if they share on Facebook or Twitter a post that completes the phrase ‘I love Canada because…’ by August 3.

APT’s most popular Canada and Alaska itinerary among UK customers is the 20-day Rockies Explorer & Alaska Cruise, priced from £7,845 per person based on two sharing. It takes guests from Vancouver through the Rockies to Banff with GoldLeaf service on the Rocky Mountaineer train, coach travel to Lake Louise, Jasper, Sun Peaks and Whistler before a seven-night Holland America Line cruise of the Inside Passage.

A 20-day Passage Though the Rockies and Alaska Cruise, priced from £4,695 per person twin share, includes a Calgary to Vancouver tour followed by a Holland America Line cruise through the Inside Passage to the Alaskan capital of Juneau, followed by Skagway, Glacier Bay and Ketchikan.

APT holidays are full-inclusive and include return flights from the UK.
