APT unveils 2018-2019 Australasia programme with savings up to £1,000
APT has produced its 2018-2019 touring programme to New Zealand and Australia with early booking savings of up to £1,000.
The escorted touring specialist has reported “stand out growth” from the UK for its New Zealand tours and is predicting interest in Australia to increase as a result of new direct Qantas flights from the UK to Perth, which launches in March next year.
Its new ‘luxury and premium’ brochure has savings of up to £1,000 per couple on select itineraries booked before February 28, 2018.
New Zealand itineraries include a luxury 21-day New Zealand Wonderland tour covering the must-see sights of the north and south island, from £6,045, and a premium 19-day New Zealand Getaway covering both islands, from £4,295. Both are based on twin share accommodation and are guaranteed departures.
Australian trips include adventure touring in Western Australia’s Kimberley region and also featured is a 15-day El Questro Gorges and Purnululu tour, a flight-inclusive small group four-wheel drive trip off the beaten track in the Northern Territory’s Kakadu. Priced from £5,345, this includes a driver guide and a stay of two of APT’s three remote wilderness lodges.
Head of sales and commercial Angela Waite said: “What we’re seeing is a significant growth in bookings from UK travellers.
“In particular we’re seeing stand out sales for our premium touring holidays in New Zealand. We’re also expecting to see more interest in Australia as direct Qantas flights from the UK to Perth will undoubtedly add to the increased interest for the region. For agents there has never been a better time to sell these destinations.”
