The Silk Road destinations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have been re-introduced by Audley Travel.
The central Asian countries were last featured by the operator in 2020 and have returned for 2026 targeting adventurous travellers.
Audley noted that both countries are known for their culture, history, welcoming people, authentic embroidery and silk paper crafts.
The operator recommends Samarkand in Uzbekistan, one of the cities on the old Silk Road, and a yurt stay in more rural Kyrgyzstan.
Central Asia regional product manager Lauren Coppola said: “Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are incredible countries with fascinating history and artistry, without the crowds encountered in so many other destinations.
"These are ideal destinations for adventurous travellers looking for something different for their 2026 trip.”
Package prices start at £4,200 per person for an 11-day Uzbekistan itinerary and £6,800pp for 16 days in Kyrgyzstan.
