Back-Roads Touring adds Austria and Germany departures

Back-Roads Touring has released its 2019 brochure, adding two new tours to its repertoire.

The new Journey through Germany itinerary explores Bavaria, the Black Forrest and the Romantic Road while the Essence of Austria tour includes a traditional cider tasting, a fish smoking demonstration and a visit to Hitler’s famous Eagles Nest mountain retreat.

Nine of the 52 tours in the escorted touring specialist’s brochure have been “improved” for 2019 and a 10% early booking discount applies to bookings made by November 30, offering savings of up to £765 per couple on 38 European tours including the popular Slow Foods of Puglia and Highlights of Northern Spain tours and the two new additions.

Head of international sales James Tedesco said: “We know many of our guests like to plan their holidays well in advance, so there’s never been a better time to lock in a summer getaway for 2019. We’re particularly excited to launch our two brand new tours and nine improved itineraries to market, providing our valued customers with even more options for unique, off-the-beaten-track destinations and authentic local experiences.

“Whether it be rediscovering a favourite destination or exploring somewhere brand new, Back-

Roads Touring’s promises an unforgettable journey through the eyes of a local,” he added.
