Black Tomato to establish ‘Blink’ camps in Bolivia

Special camps are being established by bespoke travel firm Black Tomato in Bolivia in August and October.

The ‘Blink’ camps will appear briefly on the landscapes of the volcanic Eduardo Averoa Natural Reserve and the lunar-like Salar de Uyuni.

Holidaymakers will travel from La Paz a six-night journey through Bolivia with a host of private tours along the way, including a sunrise hot air balloon trip and light aircraft flight.

The move comes a year after the firm introduced the Blink camp initiative offering a personalised luxury service based on temporary accommodation and itineraries in remote locations.

“In response to a growing number of travellers seeking the Blink experience with less of a financial and time commitment, we created Blink in Bolivia to be a scalable option,” a company spokesman said.
