Classic Collection to begin UK-wide roadshow in April
Classic Collection will begin a UK-wide roadshow in April featuring its ‘Classic Live Lounge’ initiative.
The operator held its first live lounge at its awards event in Cyprus in December, which included live entertainment, a showcase from suppliers and hoteliers, news updates from Classic’s senior management team, prize draws, dinner and drinks.
Si Morris-Green, director of agency sales and marketing, said: “Agents told us that they really appreciated the relaxed, engaging and informative way of learning about the latest news from Classic and from the hotelier partners of some of our most popular properties and destinations.”
The first three events of the year will take place in Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow from April 18-20, followed by visits to Chester, Manchester and Birmingham from April 24-26.
The operator will then run a roadshow in Sussex in May, and will visit the South West, Channel Islands, London, Home Counties, Essex, East Anglia and the North East in October.
Morris-Green said: “It’ll be great to see a mixture of familiar and new agent faces all around the UK and to be able to recognise and reward our trade partners for their continued support.
“We’re looking forward to what we’re sure will be a fantastic UK-wide tour.”
