Cosmos to introduce ‘Platinum’ premium coach tours to Europe this winter

Cosmos is introducing its ‘Platinum’ premium coach touring brand to Europe for the first time this winter.

The aim is to capture the luxury touring market in Europe during off-peak seasons.

A new range of tours, operated by sister company Globus, are available for autumn and winter departures to popular regions in Europe when hotel and tourist attraction rates are lower.

Featuring centrally located first class hotels, the nine new tours operate at a time when Europe’s sights can be visited without the usual tourist crowds.

Solo travellers can take advantage of a no single supplement offer on all departures of the new tours, subject to availability.

Available from November to March next year, the range features seven to nine-day durations and includes tours of Ireland, Italy, Germany, Greece, Portugal and Spain, as well as multi-country tours.

Platinum tours include luxury hotel accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, a welcome dinner, and more excursions covering lesser-known local sights. Free wi-fi is available on board all coaches.

Cosmos head of product and commercial Rob Goodwin said:  “As the winter booking season starts, we are delighted to offer a premium product with such great value for our customers.

“Our new choice of tours means that agents can be confident in offering customers fascinating itineraries guided by an experienced tour director, as well as, first class hotels with a wide range of facilities.”

He added, “Combining the reassurance and social aspect of travelling with a group, these tours are suitable for a broad demographic, from single travellers, groups of friends to couples wanting to see more of Europe without the hassle of travelling independently.

“Very often, a mix of our customers can range from parents with teenage children, single female travellers in their 30s to retired couples.”
