Costsaver expands into Australia and New Zealand for 2022
Budget touring specialist Costsaver has expanded into Australia and New Zealand for 2022.
The operator, part of The Travel Corporation, said its three new itineraries were a response to increased consumer demand for open spaces and travel to off-the-beaten-track destinations as international borders reopen.
Donna Jeavons, UK president of Costsaver, as well as sister brands Trafalgar and Contiki, said: “We saw amazing growth before the pandemic and with high demand for destinations with plenty of open spaces showing no signs of slowing down, we believe Australia and New Zealand are a natural fit, offering unpackaged and personalised experiences for travellers to get the most out of their vacations.”

The new itineraries have been added for travel this year and in 2023.
The nine-day Cosmopolitan Sydney and Melbourne tour explores the Blue Mountains National Park in Sydney and includes Canberra and a street art tour in Melbourne.
The six-day Tropical Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef includes a trip through the tropical Daintree Rainforest into the waters of the Great Barrier Reef and an Aboriginal tour to Cooya Beach.
The seven-day Essence of Southern New Zealand tour explores the south island, starting in Christchurch before making its way along the shores of Lake Pukaki to Aoraki Mount Cook National Park and on to Queenstown, followed by a day in the glacial village of Franz Josef.
Within the new itineraries, Costsaver has introduced 40 optional experiences ranging from surfing lessons on Bondi Beach to spa treatments at Te Waonui Forest Retreat in New Zealand.
Clients who have travelled with Costsaver in the past can get 5% off selected trips including the new Australia and New Zealand itineraries.
