Intrepid Travel has announced two promotions, with Carrie Grant becoming head of industry and Natalia Marin Reyes stepping up to the UK head of sales role.
Grant replaces Joanna Reeve, who was promoted recently to the role of UK and Ireland general manager. She joined Intrepid in 2022 as senior partnerships manager UK & Ireland and has “successfully grown and developed” the trade business, said the adventure travel specialist.
Reeve said: “Carrie’s impressive business development and sales managerial background and efforts as a champion for diversity within the travel industry have made her a huge asset to the team and I’m delighted to see her progress to this new role.
“She has some exciting plans, and with a strong team behind her, I’m confident she will take our trade business to new heights.”
Grant added: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be promoted to head of industry. I will be leading an incredible team of talented Intrepid people who are committed to making travel a force for good.”
Natalia Marin Reyes replaces Samantha Briggs who has moved to Thailand to take up the position of Thailand general manager.
She joined Intrepid in 2018 in the tailor-made and co-branded partnerships team and has progressed through various roles to became senior partnerships manager UK & EU in 2023.
Reeve added: “I am so proud that we have been able to fill these roles with promotions of two incredible talents within the Intrepid team.
“With change brings new opportunities, and the future looks bright. I can’t wait to work closely with Carrie and Natalia and help take the business to the next level in the UK and Ireland.”
