Kuoni unveils latest escorted touring collection

Kuoni’s latest escorted touring programme has been released covering departures between January 2019 and December 2020.

Botswana is featured under touring for the first time with an explorer trip taking in the Victoria Falls, a local meerkat clan and sleep-out under the stars on the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans.

The operator claims to be the first from the UK to offer a safari by rail in Kenya using the Madaraka Express travelling along the Mombasa-Nairobi line, which was completed last year.

New photography tours, Images of Japan and Images of Russia, will be led by award-wining photographer Neil Buchan-Grant.

A revamped Cuban Explorer tour covers art, history and culture with salsa classes, a stay with locals in a casa particular, a behind the scenes tour with a Havana dance ensemble and a chat with locals that lived through the revolution.

All tours are small group journeys with no more than 18 people with local tour leaders.
