Lion King to boost safari bookings, says Titan

Titan Travel is promoting its 2020 African safaris, ahead of the release later this month of live-action film The Lion King.

The escorted tour operator expects the film will boost bookings for wildlife itineraries across the continent, including Kenya, South Africa, Uganda and Madagascar.

A 10-day Grand Kenyan Safari costs from £2,599 including eight nights’ accommodation and return flights.

It visits Aberdare, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha national parks, and Masai Mara Game Reserve.

The 17-day Tracks of Africa holiday costs from £4,299 and includes South Africa, Botswana and Victoria Falls. It includes 12 nights’ accommodation, two nights on Rovos Rail, and flights.

The Great Apes of Uganda tour visits four national parks, offering the chance to spot gorillas baboons, antelopes, hyenas, warthog and lions.

It costs from £4,199 for accommodation, excursions and return international flights.

The prices also include Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service and the services of a local Titan tour manager.
