Newmarket Holidays discounts European group tours

Newmarket Holidays is offering 15% discounts until the end of March to help agents capitalise on interest in European escorted tours.

Bookings for the specialist operator’s short-haul departures for this year are claimed to be up by 66% on the same period in 2022, including a 70% increase in June.

Top performing destinations are the Scottish Highlands, Croatia and Italy, with sales boosted by the introduction of a number of new group tours over the past 12 months.

The 15% discount on a range of European holidays is available until March 31, with departures from regional airports including Aberdeen, Bournemouth and Cardiff.

Head of trade sales Richard Forde: “We wondered whether holiday habits would change after the on-off nature of travel during lockdown and the cost-of-living crisis that has followed, but our booking trends for this year show that people are desperate to get away and don’t want to delay.

“This short haul campaign is a great opportunity for agents to capitalise on last-minute travel and secure bookings for the summer season.”
