Newmarket Holidays launches March marketing push

Newmarket Holidays has launched a campaign for March, offering 10% off 10 popular tours and continuing with its “Reconnect. Reimagine. Rediscover” message.

A discount of 5% will be applied across most of the rest of the company’s touring portfolio for 2022 and 2023.

The 10% discounts are on holidays such as Elvis Presley’s Memphis, New Orleans & Nashville, Belfast & the Titanic Experience, and On Safari in Kruger National Park.

Richard Forde, head of trade sales, said: “Following the removal of restrictions in the UK from February 24, we believe that this March campaign gives our customers another chance to reconnect with the world, reimagine their travel plans and rediscover their wish-lists.

“We had a really strong offer on for the first two months of the year to support customers back into planning their travel for the year ahead.

“We still want to support customers which is why we’ve continued with a 5% discount for much of the portfolio.”

Under the government’s Living With Covid-19 plan, domestic legal restrictions ended in England on February 24 and further changes will come into force on April 1. Routine contact tracing will end, along with the universal free provision of tests.

Newmarket anticipates bookings will continue to rise as as customer confidence continues to strengthen.

“Our offer at the start of the year with this messaging was very well received, and we think that it will continue to be so,” said Forde.

“As we head into the spring and summer months, many more countries are likely to scrap testing and isolation requirements, which will be another major step forward for the travel industry. Of course, with Italy also relaxing its entry requirements, customers’ confidence will continue regarding Covid.

“By retaining this content-led approach with the ‘Reconnect. Reimagine. Rediscover.’ message, we aim to keep inspiring our customers to kick-start their holiday plans and see the world again.

“We hope this campaign can offer more support to agents during their conversations with clients rather than just incentivising sales.”
