Newmarket Holidays recruits Darren Phillips as account manager
Newmarket Holidays has recruited Darren Phillips as account manager for the north region, providing maternity cover for Gemma Walker.
He has spent 29 years in travel, including 12 years running his own agency; working in account management for a major tour operator and a period as a tour manager.
Phillips has also launched popular trade events in the northeast such as the Geordie Ball.
He said of Newmarket Holidays: “Their achievements in retail have gone from strength to strength and I will continue the great work that has been done across the north.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road and visiting agents again as I know that’s where my niche is.”
