Newmarket Holidays unveils new tours
Newmarket Holidays has introduced a tour to Jerusalem, Galilee and The Holy Land and added a new railway tour.
The eight day Jerusalem, Galilee & The Holyland tour costs from £1,399 and includes visits to Gethsemane, the ‘Wailing’ Wall, Church of the Nativity, Acre and the Dead Sea.
David Sharman, commercial director, said: “This is a natural step into a new product area for us and we are sure this escorted tour will be popular with our target market.
“As an independent traveller it is difficult to put together a comprehensive tour to this region. The inclusion of a tour manager and a carefully planned itinerary on this holiday makes it easier for people to visit all the areas that have historical and religious significance.”
The operator’s new Lake Como & Alpine Railways tour is a six day winter break, priced from £599, with departures from November 2018 to February 2019.
Highlights include two rail journeys: a ride on the historic Como-Brunate funicular and a trip on the Bernina Express to St Moritz. Optional excursions go to Lugano and Milan.
