Rail Discoveries adds five new adventure itineraries

Escorted group rail operator Rail Discoveries has released its new brochure with five new worldwide itineraries.

They include the 15-day Highlights of South Africa from £2,795pp on the Ceres Railway through Kruger National Park and along the Garden Route where passengers can look out at the country’s wildlife.

Its 14-day Spectacular Southern India, from £1,795pp, goes through jungles and coastlines and takes in the UNESCO World Heritage royal palace of Mysuru.

Temples and underground networks created during the Vietnam War will feature in the 14-day Highlights of Vietnam and Cambodia tour which also features Halong Bay with prices from £1,995pp.

Also new is Adventures of Japan, a 14-day tour from £3,095pp, which takes passengers through cities and countryside where they will see cherry blossoms, geisha, tea ceremonies, sake, Shinto and sacred temples.

And the 11-day The Glamorous West Coast of America tour, from £1,995pp, takes in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well as the Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park.

Agents making bookings for 2019 itineraties before June 1 2018 can save customers up to £150pp.

All tours include a dedicated tour manager, hotel accommodation, local guides, excursions and most meals.
