Riviera Travel recruits new key account manager
Cruise and escorted tour specialist Riviera Travel has appointed Beverley Philpotts as a key account manager.
Having started her travel career in the mid-80s, she has a wealth of experience working in business development and sales management roles for brands including Tui SuperBreak, Great Little Breaks and most recently Great Rail Journeys.
She has also been a college lecturer, teaching the BTEC in Travel and Tourism.
Reporting to Tom Morgan, head of agency sales UK and Ireland, she will manage relationships with Riviera’s key partners to help expand the businesses.
Riviera has made several trade-facing appointments during the past 18 months, including the addition of Claire Hills in a key account manager role earlier this month.
Philpotts said: “I can’t wait to start visiting our travel agent partners, getting training sessions delivered and spreading Riviera product knowledge. After a difficult 18 months, I’m ready for the next chapter.”
Morgan added: “She cannot wait to get out there, keeping our agent partners up to date on all things Riviera Travel.
“Beverley is a fantastic addition to the team and is another sign that we are fully committed to the trade and won’t shy away from our trade partners during these challenging times.”
