Rocky Mountaineer gives advance trade discounts

Rocky Mountaineer is giving agents and operators two-week advanced access to new year discounts before being made available to consumers.

Price cuts of up to £255 per couple are being made available via the trade from today (Monday) ahead of consumer-facing marketing starting on January 30.

The trade-only discount window covers selected departures throughout the year across four routes in western Canada and the US south west.

A $300 per couple (£255) or $150 per person discount applies on the Rockies to the Red Rocks route, a two-day journey that connects Moab, Utah with Denver, Colorado.

The price reduction is valid on selected travel dates on eastbound departures from Moab from April to June and September to October, and on all departures during July and August.

A C$300 per couple (£190) or C$150 per person discount applies on Rocky Mountaineer’s three routes in western Canada.

Both promotions are offered for the trade to book via Rocky Mountaineer’s travel agent portal.

EMEA sales director Steven Harris said: “2023 has started positively and our tour operator and travel agent partners have been an integral part of that.

“We are delighted to give them the first opportunity to take advantage of our January-February sales promotion as we target more success for the coming season.”
