Shearings adds 15 new escorted tours to Worldwide brochure

Shearings Holidays has launched its 2019/2020 Worldwide brochure with 15 new escorted tours and flight-inclusive prices for the first time.

The brochure offers 29 tours in total, three more than last year, to destinations in the USA, Canada, Cuba, South America, Central America, Antarctica, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

New tours include 16-day cowboy-themed Wings over the West, which features a Grand Canyon Railway ride with train robbery experience, Route 66 and a private jet flight from Las Vegas to LA, which starts from £4,195pp with departures from May to September.

Also new is Borneo Wilderness which includes three river cruises, Orangutan spotting opportunities, tropical rainforests and the Poring Hot Springs over 12 days, starting from £1,979pp including flights. Departures are on June 16 and September 8.

A new worldwide training module has been set up for agents – and the first 100 to complete it will receive a cuddly animal toy.

Shearings Holidays’ managing director Jane Atkins said: “This programme is all about offering agents something different from a brand they know and trust. We have some incredible new destinations such as Borneo and the Amazon, Cuba, Antarctica, Alaska and Morocco plus new experiences that are not something agents or customers would immediately think of from Shearings Holidays! We have a loyal following, who have a fondness and trust for the brand, so it should be easy for agents to sell. These tours have been handpicked to suit our customers, based on feedback from our recent focus groups.

“Being able to show packages including flights is an important development which I am sure will prove invaluable to agents when they are quoting customers. It will save them time and provides a fully rounded package to sell.”

Seven of the 12 tours to the US, Canada and Cuba are new, as are three of the five to South, Central America and Antarctica.

Borneo Wilderness takes the number of Asian tours to five while two of the three African itineraries are new for 2019/2020, as are two of the four Australia and New Zealand tours.
