Tourism Western Australia appoints UK trade executive
Tourism Western Australia has recruited Annabelle Molina as UK trade and marketing executive to promote the destination among travel agents and operators.
She will be the key point of contact for the trade, working on marketing campaigns and building strong industry relationships.
Molina has more than eight years of experience in the international education sector and events management.
She said: “Western Australia is a stunning destination with so much to offer, and I have the pleasure of sharing insights on the state’s iconic spots such as Ningaloo Reef and Margaret River.
“We already have plenty of exciting plans lined up for agents this month, starting with our moment in the spotlight for the Aussie Specialist Programme.”
The Aussie Specialist training programme will spotlight Western Australia during February with webinars on February 9 and 23.
The first 20 agents to complete the Western Australia modules will win a £50 Love2Shop voucher.
Agents who complete the modules by March 31 will be in with a chance of winning two return flights to Perth with Qantas.
Tourism Western Australia will also hold an ‘Adventure Awaits’ roadshow in the summer and a fam trip later in the year.
Last month, the tourist board joined the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) as part of its strategy to work closely with UK travel agents.
