Travel Corporation brands announce partnership with ‘culinary experience platform’

The Travel Corporation has announced a global partnership with ‘food experience platform’ VizEat, offering culinary experiences with 22,000 local hosts in 110 countries.

The VizEat app was launched in Paris in 2014, and is now the world’s most popular meal sharing platform.

TTC brands including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Contiki will now be able to connect their customers to VizEat hosts around the globe.

Guests will then be able to sample authentic regional specialties and traditional cuisine with locals.

Brett Tollman, chief executive of The Travel Corporation, said: “Our partnership with VizEat will enable our guests from across our 30-plus TTC travel brands to discover amazing and fun culinary experiences in each destination which we visit while also interacting with the local people and creating unforgettable memories.

“We also share similar values by offering experiential activities and meeting like-minded travellers from around the world.”

Beginning this summer, TTC’s guests will have an opportunity to enjoy the immersive food experiences on selected trips or as optional experiences with the assistance of their travel directors and tour managers.
