Travelsphere launches ‘authentic holiday experiences’ push
Travelsphere has unveiled a new campaign to promote its ‘positive and authentic holiday experiences’, as it launches its main Europe and worldwide brochure.
The Real Smiles campaign, featuring brand ambassador Penny Smith, will run in the press and online, and will build on the operator’s successful repositioning in 2017, when agents were made more central to the business.
Marketing director Nicole Mason said the campaign aimed to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
She said: “We talked to customers about their favourite holiday moments and thinking about their holiday made them really smile. We are focusing on the emotional, authentic elements of the holiday.”
Head of sales Sarah Weetman added: “This campaign brings to life our vision, which is to change people’s lives through authentic travel experiences.”
Travelsphere will upload videos to YouTube, Facebook and its own website to “encapsulate the moments customers smile about while on holiday”.
The videos will feature radio presenter Smith’s Travelsphere holiday to South Africa, as well as some customers.
Weetman said the campaign would drive “more interactive” visits to agents and feature “surprises to make them smile”,
as well as their customers.
Travelsphere’s new brochure features 140 escorted tours across Australia, Africa and the Middle East, including 11 new itineraries.
The operator has launched a raft of offers including savings of £1,000 per person, deposits of £99 and £50 off per person when clients book two or more Travelsphere trips at the same time.
