Travelsphere returns to Egypt for first time since 2015

Travelsphere has relaunched holidays to Egypt for the first time since 2015.

The operator had intended to return to the African country in 2020, but plans were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, from September, Travelsphere will run its new eight-day Treasures of Egypt – Pyramids and a Nile Cruise itinerary, with prices starting from £2,224 including flights and accommodation.

Guests will begin the tour in Cairo with visits to the Pyramids of Giza and Egyptian Museum, before travelling to Luxor and embarking on a Nile cruise stopping at the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and the Aswan High Dam.

Group sizes are limited to 35.

Sales director Sarah Weetman said: “We are so excited that Travelsphere is returning to Egypt which was always one of our most popular destinations.

“There is so much included in our Egypt holiday from all flights, the company of a Travelsphere holiday director, and fantastic accommodation both in Cairo and on our river cruise ships, which includes all meals while on board.”
