AE Expeditions appoints James Atherton as UK and Ireland BDM

AE Expeditions has appointed James Atherton as business development manager for the UK and Ireland.

 

Based in Southampton and reporting to EMEA sales director Andrew Turner, Atherton will be responsible for strengthening trade relationships, supporting commercial growth and driving sales performance across key markets in the UK and Europe.

 

Atherton brings more than six years’ experience in sales and operations roles in the cruise industry.

 

He joins AE Expeditions from Carnival UK, where he most recently served as regional sales manager at Cunard.

 

Prior to this, he was part of P&O Cruises’ trade sales team, following his earlier career in contact centre operations and guest services.

 

AE Expeditions said Atherton’s “diverse career background offers a unique perspective on the end-to-end guest journey and the evolving needs of trade partners”.
