A 35% rise in trade bookings for Newmarket Holidays’ Premier Collection has triggered plans for expansion of the range.
The increase reflects sales for the first eight months of 2025 versus the same period last year.
Agent sales have been particularly strong for two tours featuring the historic paradors of hidden Spain and the pousadas of Portugal, according to the operator.
New tours are now planned for 2026 and the following year.
The Premier Collection was created in January 2024 to give agents access to a range of group holidays that combine the ease of escorted travel with smaller groups, slower-paced itineraries and “unique” accommodation.
Initial departures focused on Spain, Portugal, South Africa and India, with new additions to Italy, Turkey, and a twin-centre itinerary across Botswana and Zimbabwe bringing the total number of tours to 10.
Head of trade sales and partnerships Hayley Morris said: “It’s great to see the Premier Collection gaining traction, as it means that we’ve been able to give agents something distinctively different to offer – smaller groups, richer experiences and properties with real personality.
“The feedback from both customers and the trade has been incredibly positive, and it’s driving us to expand the collection even further for 2026 and 2027.”
